When to Visit

The best time to visit Israel depends on what you're looking for. With a Mediterranean climate, the country has hot, dry summers and cool, rainy winters. The spring months (April and May) and autumn period (September and October) are typically mild, making them an ideal time to explore the country comfortably.

However, if your holiday plans are centred around beach time in Tel Aviv or Eilat, the summer months of June through August will provide plenty of sunshine and high temperatures, although these can peak at over 30°C. During winter, temperatures in most cities like Jerusalem, Haifa, and Tel Aviv range from 10°-15°C, but if you're venturing into desert areas, expect much colder nights.
