When to Visit

Martinique enjoys a tropical climate, meaning it boasts pleasant temperatures throughout the year. However, to avoid the hurricane season and benefit from the driest periods, the best time to visit is between December and April.

During these months, Martinique is at its most vibrant with loads of cultural festivities. If you can handle higher humidity and occasional showers, visiting between June and November can be rewarding too with fewer crowds and more affordable accommodation. Just keep in mind that between August and September, hurricanes can occur.
