When to Visit

South Carolina's temperate climate makes it a visitor-friendly destination almost all-year round. Naturally, summer, with temperatures hovering around a pleasant 25-33 degrees Celsius, is the high season with beach and outdoor recreational activities in full swing. However, the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) seasons are also appealing, offering mild weather, fewer crowd, and beautiful cherry blossoms or fiery autumnal hues.

Visiting in winter (December to February) is also an option, particularly for budget-conscious travellers. Bear in mind though, temperatures can drop sharply, especially in the mountainous regions, and snowfall is not uncommon.
